FUNDS FOR ATHLETICS
ART UNION PROPOSAL. DOMINION COUNCIL MEETS. (By Tclegrapn—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. K. The New Zealand Athletic Council to-night decided to apply for inclusion on the list of bodies conducting art unions, the funds to be devoted to fostering athletics among juniors and schools. The council agreed to a scheme lor the registration of all athletes, the ices payable! to be fixed by various centres and a minimum of one shilling to come to the New Zealand Association *s an overseas, representative fund.
