Declaring that the Canadian manufacturer was following a- “lone wolf” policy In foreign trade, Mr H. H. Stevens (Minister of Trade) read a, lecture to a gathering of industrial interests here to-night. ‘‘Manufacturers are leaning on the Government too much,” Mr Stevens said. ‘‘They are not making the most of their opportunities abroad and products inferior to Canadian are being sold under their noses. If firms cannot afford to maintain their own salesmen abroad they should act co-operatively. ”
