REBUILDING WAIROA WORKS
DECISION BY MEAT COMPANY.COMPLETION IN DECEMBER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIROA, Sept. 3 The directors of the Wairoa Farmers’ Co-operative Meat Company to-day decided' to proceed immediately with the restoration of the meat works. The cool storage chambers are to be rebuilt in ferro-comcrete to take the place of those destroyed by fire on February 6, 1931, following the earthquake on February 3. The directors expect the works to be ready for killing operations in December,
