Indian Gymkhana match, the former in the first innings lost four for 343 and declared (Wazir Ali 141, Naidu 104 not out). Indian Gymkhana in the first innings made 320 (Malik 75, Contractor SO). The match was drawn. Gentlemen' in the first innings against Players made 277 (Hone 130; Freeman five for 100). Players, who made 194 in- the first innings, in' the second lost six for 228 (Woolley 50, Hearne 70). There was no play in tire Yorkshire v. M.C.C. match owing to rain. NEW ZEALANDERS RETURNING.
MERRITT AND DACRE. Sept. 1. The New Zealand cricketer, W. E. Merritt, will sail for New Zealand by the Tamili on September 9. It is understood he will return in 1933. Dacre will also return shortly to New Zealand.
