Lady Barrow, wife of Sir Iran CL Sir a Franois, a 'baronet, and ant of the Sir John Barrow who m th© ISth century was for many yea,rs Secretary to the Admiralty and fodder of the Royal Geographical Society, left his home 19 years ago, and never been heard of again. Sir was born in 1862 and mamed m 1890. Lady Barrow allways hoped that one day her husiband would communicate with the family. “I feel convinced that he is alive and in England, she used to say. “Something tells me that he will com® back.” In January, 1931, when Lady Barrow’s son, Mr Wilfred John Wilson Groker Barrow, was seriously ill at his home at Teddmgtoai, Middlesex, an, S O S wlais broadcast asking Sir branch, “last heard of 18 years ago and whose whereabouts are unknown, to go to him. There was no response, but a tew days after the, broadcast it was said that a man strongly resembling bn Francis had denied his identity to people who approached him. ,
