EUCHRE SOCIAL. (From Our Own Correspondent.) On Friday evening a very sucessful euchre party was held at the Fraser Road school in aid of the Rotokare and Fraser Road schools funds. Ihe ladies’ prize was won by Mrs. H. Sanderson and the men’s by Mr. J. Sanderson. SCHOOL COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Fraser Road school committee was held on Monday and it was arranged to hold a working bee to put the fences and grounds in order. This is a useful and a necessary work. The people are indebted to the men who give time and work to the interests of the school. VETERINARY INTERESTS. On Tuesday Mr. Richmond, president of the Stratford Veterinary Club, and Mr. Currie, of Hamilton, addressed a meeting on veterinary matters and on the advantages of joining the club in Stratford. There was a fair attendance and the talk on«the activities and work generally of the club was followed with interest. Several questions were answered and at the close ten joined as members.
