Communist interruptions, the new: Prussian Diet’s first meeting passed without incident. The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” says. 162 Nazi members, mostly without previous Parliamentary experience, entered in a body headed by Herr Karl Litzmann, octogenarian war hero, who was wearing a froctk coat on which were pinned an Iron Gross and other decorations/ As the oldest member of the diet, Herr Litzmann provisionally took the chair, the Nazis jumping to their feet and giving him the Fascist salute. This caused a Communist outburst qf shouts : “Down with Imperial generals I Down with Fascists!’.’
The sitting was purely formal and adjourned to-day for the election of the president and vioe-presadents.
