REVERSION NEXT MONTH POLICY OF COST REDUCTION ANNOUNCEMENTS BY MINISTER, 'By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 25. The Postmaster-General, the Hon. A. Hamilton, stated to-day, that the Government in pursuance of its policy of reducing costs had decided to revert to the system of universal penny postage as from June 1. The necessary details would he made known to the public In the course of a few days, but generally speaking _it could be stated the rates in vogue prior to March 1, 1931, with slight exceptions, -would be Teverted to.
