His expenses were guaranteed at a meeting to-night. COACH FOR, ROWERS WANGANUI MAN APPOINTED WELLINGTON, May 23. At a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Rowing Association tonight it was decided to appoint Air C. Healey, of the Union Boat Club, Wanganui, coach for the New Zealand rowing team for the Olympic Games. Tlio crew will be assembled at Wellington on June 1 for a fortnight’s training .prior to sailing on June 14.
