CONDITIONAL RESIGNATION • ALL TO- FACE ELECTION (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 24 As a result of the challenge made by a member of the Tramway Board yesterday during the strike discussion in which she took the part cf the union, Mrs E. R. McCombs (wife of Mr J. McCombs, M.P.) has agreed to resign and contest an election provided all the other members of the hoard do the same.
