WHAREROA.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) EUCHRE SOCIAL. On Thursday evening a euchre party was held in the Whareroa hall. A good assembly met for the first games of the season. It is hoped to have these card parties fortnightly during the winter. The- prizes were won by Aliss Gwen George and Air. Jack Steffert. Air. Ken Reynolds attended the tables and marked the cards. The evening was brought to a- close with supper provided by the ladies. PERSONAL. Airs. AV. Luscombe, of New Plymouth, is the guest of Air. C. Chappie. Air and All's Hughes are on a holiday trip to AA’anganui. Mr. Jeff Bootten has taken a farm on the Glen Road, Alanaia. Aliss Eileen AA T ells who liais been indisposed for some time is showing g decided improvement. Aliss Iris and Mr. AY. YV. Nicholas have returned from a motor trip of the Auckland district.
