STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS. At the end of last month the borough overdraft on the district fund account amounted to £f69o 14s Bd. As against this three accounts were in credit uis under: Sewerage Loan, £969 16s 7d, Eltham Domain £1 7s; Ngaere Cemetery £l3 2s 6d. During April the sum of £747 5s was received from the borough from all resources, as under: Rates, £46 14s 9d; general, £43 5s 6d; materials and labour £2; gasworks, £214 lbs 4d; Town Hall, £303 2s 3d ;heavy traffic license fees, £lB 5s 9d; workers’ dwelling, £37 19s 3d; relief wages, £64 8s; sewerage repayments, £2 3s 8d; Eltham Domain, £1 75.; Ngaere Cemetery, £l3 2s 6d. The expenditure for the month amounted to £BB4 6s 10 as under:— General, £143 16® lOd; maintenance, £124 8s 10d; water and drainage, £5 14s Id; gasworks, £l3O 10s 4d; Town Hall, £252 17® 4d; street lighting, £l2O 14s lid; interest, £24: Soldiers’ Memorial Park, £1 12s 2d; No. 1 I highways, £1 9s Id; relief wages, £62 9s lid; workers’ dwellings, £5 17s lOd; Eltham Domain, £8 18s; Ngaere Cemetery, £1 17s 6d.
