FATAL DASH ACROSS ROAD
BOY STRUCK; BY CAR
PUTARURU TRAGEDY. (By Telegraph—Prosi Association.) HAMILTON, May 23. Robert Charles Drummond, eight years of age, son of Mr. Leslie Drummond. accountant,_ of Putaruru, sustained fatal injuries on the Arapuni Road at Putaruru yesterday afternoon. The boy was playing football with other children and ran across the road in the path cf a motor car driven by Mrs. Gilmour. of Waihi. The child died shorty after he was knocked down his injuries incuding broken arms, a fractured skull and internal injuries.
