Thomas, aslcs why when he referred to the sanctity of treaties and agreements he omitted'to mention “Those embroid©red reports of the Imperial Conference of 1926 and 1930 defining the mutual relation of the States of the British Comonwealth of Nations.” “Surely Britain does not claim the rio-ht to "dictate to the Irish people and forbid them to adopt measures which they deem wise and necessary for thenown internal peace,” said Mr. De Valera. “In what conceivable way can the removal of the oath to enable a normal method of government to replace coercion injure Britain. _vv hy should our right to pass the Bill be questioned or denied?” . Mr. De Valera is dispatching a reply regarding the land annuities.
