HINT IN NEW SOUTH WALES. MINISTER’S INDICATION. (United Pres« Association —By Electric Telegrapß Copyright.'' SYDNEY, May 22. The Minister of Agriculture, Mr H. Main, speaking at Ternora, hinted that the new Parliament might be. the last as at present constituted. He indicated that if a composite Government resulted from the elections new States might be formed during tho life of the forthcoming Parliament. The Commissioner of Family Endowment, in a circular which he is forwarding to the recipients of cheques to explain the delay in making the payments, declares that the delay was not due to his department, .that he was directed by the ex-Treasurer (Mr Lang) to withhold further payments, and that he was also instructed that if any persons inquired why the payments had been stopped lie was to state tbat it was owing to the action taken by the Commonwealth Government.
