WOMAN KILLED IN SMASH
HUSBAND SUFFERS INJURY SIDE-CAR TRAGEDY. (By Telegraph—Press Association). ASHBURTON, Feb. 20. A fatality occurred near Fairton last evening as the outcome of a collision between it motor cycle and side-car and a service bus. The victim was Mrs Brown, wife of Hugh Brown, of Matlock Street. Woolston, Christchurch. Mr Brown is suffering from fractures of a leg, hut his condition is satisfactory.
The accident happened when Brown drew out to pass a car in front. Mrs Brown died in a few minutes.
