ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS. BOARD APPOINTS COMMITTEE. The “Exporter’s” report of the last meeting of the Dairy Board states: “Mr. F. H. Anderson and Mr. A. Morton attended on behalf of the National Dairy Association to discuss with the board the proposals submitted to the National Dairy Conference by a select committee appointed to make recommendations for the reorgan-, isation of the industry from an administrative point of view. The desire of the committee to achieve fuller control and co-ordination with a view to improved quality was outlined by both speakers and details discussed with board members. “After discussion of the pros and cons of questions raised, it was resolved that the board should arrange for a conference between the Minister and committee of the board to go into the requests of the committee set up by the National Dairy Association’s conference and submitted to the board, so that some definite decision might be come to with regard to the responsibilities that may be placed upon the board.
“Messrs Grounds, Corrigan, Dunlop and lorns were appointed a committee on behalf of the board to discuss this question with the Minister of Agriculture.” •
