MISHAP WITH SHOTGUN
MARRIED MAN INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU, June 8. Gordon L. Beere, a- married man, was in the act of lifting a shotgun from the sidecar of a motor, cycle yesterday afternoon when the weapon discharged, the victim receiving the full force of the charge in 'his left forearm. After first aid treatment he was admitted to the Waipukuran Hospital where an operation was /performed'.
