The teams’ match consisted of »evei shots over ranges of 300, 500 and 600 yards, and at the conclusion of the hrst range Kaponga A and New Plymouth D a team composed of G. Benton and C. 8., O. J., Rt, and E. Benton, his four sons, were the leaders. Wanganui outstripped all others at 500 yards and led New Plymouth by one point. New Plymouth O’s good aggregate at bOU yards headed the teams at that range and brought the New Plymouth team to third place. The best individual totals were E. Farley’s 99 and J.
