p.mrrr SERIES CONCILUOEL TEAMS’ WATCH WON; BY WANGANUI. The annual championship prize meeting of the Taranaki Ride Association was concluded at the JRewa Hewn range. New Plymouth, yesterday. ie championship belt was won by \v. h son (Wanganui) with a margin ot fave points to spare from 0, Hogg (No® Plymouth). A young Kaponga rifleman, D. Hollard scored a possible at 800 yaids, 49 at 900 yards and his steady 4o at 600 yards in the To Kniti match gave him the long range aggregate. The teams’ match consisted of »evei shots over ranges of 300, 500 and 600 yards, and at the conclusion of the hrst range Kaponga A and New Plymouth D a team composed of G. Benton and C. 8., O. J., Rt, and E. Benton, his four sons, were the leaders. Wanganui outstripped all others at 500 yards and led New Plymouth by one point. New Plymouth O’s good aggregate at bOU yards headed the teams at that range and brought the New Plymouth team to third place. The best individual totals were E. Farley’s 99 and J. Bobinson’s 98 of a possible of 105. TROPHIES PRESENTED. The trophies were presented at the conclusion of the meeting by Captain F.
