SHEEPSKINS DESTROYED
ESTIMATED 17,000,000 LOST. RESULT OF EXPORT DUTY. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph i Copyright.) MELBOURNE, March 5. The sheepskin exporters of Australia aave decided to renew buying operations immediately the sheepskin duty is removed. It is esimated that since ‘he duty was imposed in December 17,000,000 skins have been either destroyed or damaged. Thousands have been burned.
