CHARING CROSS TRAFFIC
PROBLEM IN LONDON. £12,400,000 SCHEME MOOTED. (United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON, March 3. After exhaustively discussing six alternative schemes dealing with Gliaiino. Cross traffic, a special advisory committee of the London County Council would solve the problem by removing the Charing Cross station to South Thames, constructing a new southern railwav terminus on the Lion brewery site, the Hungerford foot bridge to be pulled down and a rond bndge sobstatuted, the whole costing £12,470,000.
