MURDER CONVICTION
APPEAL BY ROUSE comment by judge POSSIBLE CONTEMPT OF COURT. (United Press Association —By Klectric TelegrnpL' Copyright,.) Received 2 n.m. to-day. LONDON, Fob. 23. Mr Hastings, counsel for Rouse, asserted that the conviction rested only on prejudice and gravest suspicion Rouse was unnerved and broke down and went. His wife collapsed. Later Mr justice Hewart remarked that a "Teat deal of improper comment had appeared in pertain newspapers and in correspondence therein. The court would have' to consider whether this pending .appeal did not constitute contempt of court.
