Received 12.30 p.ni.. to-day. K RUGBY, Feb.. 23. The announcement was made in the House of Commons this evening that the Foreign Secretary (Mr. Arthui Henderson) and the First Lord Pf the •Vdmira'lty left- London for Paris to-day to continue the discussions with the French Government on the naval question and that the other Powers signatory to the London Naval Treaty had been kept informed of these developments. The Ministers were accompanied bv Mr. R. L, Craigie, of the foreign Office, who on various occasions smoe last year’s London naval conference has visited Paris and Rome to discuss naval building programmes with the French and Italian experts and who a few days ago . returned Paris, where he had discussions with M. MaiselSMr. Watford Selby, of the Foreign Office, and Commander Bittleston, at the Admiralty, were also of the party.
