DISTRICT CONVENTION. ADDRESS’ ON TEAIPERANCE. AVomen speakers number some of the best in many realms of social work. Of these Airs. Peryman, of Wellington, stands very high in the Dominion as an able advocate on all social questions and especially on temperance. She will deliver a lecture on that subject on Thursday at 8 p.m., before the members of the W.C.T.U. at the district convention in the Aletliodist Hall, Hawera. His Worship the Alayor, Air. El A. Pacey, will preside. As Mrs. Peryman is a gifted and able orator, a large audience is expected. All interested are welcomed. In addition there will be an address on the work of the Young Peple’s associations by Aliss AfCClay, the Dominion organiser.
