TE ROTI.
(From Our Own Correspondent.)
At a meeting held in the jhall on Monday evening it was decided to hold the school and settlers’ picnic at Te Ngutu Park to-day. Mrs Bloor, with her mother and family, motored through to the Waikato during the holidays. Miss Y. Grierson has returned from a holiday visit to the Thames. Mrs Joseph Kelly has returned home from hospital and is making good recovery from her recent operation.
Mrs H. Hooper is at present an inmate of Craigholm Private Hospital, where she underwent an operation on Saturday. She is progressing satisfactorily. Mrs Henry lias recovered from her recent illness Mr and Mrs Ron. Cockerton, of Te Poi. paid a short visit to Mr and Mrs G. Cockerton. Mrs Lyons and Miss Ailsa Lyons, Napier, 'spent a night with Mrs Cockerton on their way through to Te Poi. Mrs Church. Tnumarmini. is the guest of Mr and Mrs Fowler.
