ENTRIES CLOSE! FRIDAY NEXT. On Friday next, at 9 p.m. entries for the Taranaki Metropolitan Society’s 55th annual show will close with the secretary (\Y. P. Okey), Box IS, New Plymouth. Those who have not yet received a copy of the prize-list should send for one without further delay. Classes are available for all kinds of horses, cattle, sheep and pigs. The prize money is liberal, and special prizes and trophies are numerous. The services of the most able judges in their respective sections have been j secured and everything possible is fceling done to ensure that all animals arc shown under the most favourable conditions. Good paddocks for holding stock and an abundance of green feed will be available. All that is now required is the hearty co-operation of exhibitors and notwithstanding the difficult times the country is passing through, the 55th annual show of the Taranaki Agricultural Society will lie equal to, if not better than, its predecessors. t Remember that entries close on Fri--1 day next, February 20.
