As the result of representations by the Commoner Mr Boyce, and discussions at- the Foreign Office, the Ministry is accepting the Bovce amendment to the third reading of the Oil ilia Indemnity Bill allowing a .portion of the indemnity o f £4,000,000 _to he expended in Australia, chiefly on railway .sleepers.
