TO PROTECT STUDENTS
ARCHITECT SUGGESTS SCHEME
According to Air E. R. Wilson, president of the Institute of Architects, dissatisfaction over examination papers might be overcome if the papers are reviewed by a Board of Moderators before the ' are issued. He made this suggestion in his presidential address, read at yesterday’s conference at Wellington, "and the question of whether such a board is desirable or not is to be considered by the committee of architectural education. “It is certainly essential,’’ Air Wilson declared, “that students should be protected against the caprices of examiners, who apparently forget :.V- times the purposes of their being-—to ascertain if students have a reasonable grasp of the matters allotted for their particular course.’’
