SPECIAL SESSION CALLED COUNRTY’S ECONOMIC POSITION EARTHQUAKE RELIEF MEASURES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Feb. 9. A .special session of Parliament, which is to commence on Wednesday, March 11, is to he called for the pianos© oD,dealing with the economic position ol the country, as well as any legislation that might bo necessary as a result of last week’s earthquake m Hawke’s Bay. This announcement was made by the Prime Minister shortly before his departure from Wellington by special train for the earthquake zone this evening.
