(From Our Own Correspondent.) The Catholic ladies’ social committee at a meeting held yesterday decided to give their opening night of the series of euchres and dances to the earthquake fund. This is to he held next Monday night at St. Patrick s Hall. Manaia. As the object is a most worthy and urgent one, no doubt a record attendance will result.
