HUGE WHEAT LOAN
AUSTRALIAN COUNCIL'S ACT. BOUNTY ON SEASON’S CROP (United Cress Association —By Electric Telegrapt Copyright.) CANBERRA, Feb. 8. The Loan Council ha>s approved oi an immediate raising of a loan of £6,000,000 to aid the wheat' growers. Of this sum £3,500,000 will be applied to a bounty of sixpence a bushel on wheat exported during the 1930-31 season, and the balance, £2,500,000, will be available to States to help necessitous farmers.
