Mr Woods, dazzled by an approaching car, apparently did not notice a boy holding a bicycle on the side of the street. The boy jumped clear, but Mr Woods was thrown to the ground. Mr Woods was taken to the hosiptal to have several stitches in his car, and was subsequently discharged. Mr Woods is a young man employed by Mr Leod, Manaia Road, Manaia. Both cycles were extensively damaged.
