NO TOURISTS WANTED
ROAD TO HASTINGS CONGESTED The Mayor of Hastings has tele graphed Hie secretary of the South Taranaki Automobile Association - requesting that tourists be asked not to visit Hastings. The road ia congested with traffic and in the interests of refugees and relief ’-vorfiers it is particularly desired that touring motorists do nothing to increase discomfort and impede progress.
