TERRIBLE LEGAL ERROR
FOUND Guilty of Murder
FORTY YEARS SPENT IN GAOL,
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) BERLIN, Feb. 2. At terrible judicial error lias just been, revealed in Saxony. A youth named Theermann was convicted on circumstantial evidence on a charge of murdering a woman in the village of Prosa in 1891 and was sentenced to hard labour for life. The real murderer lias now confessed and Theermann has been released, greyhaired and prematurely aged by histerrible experience.
