LANG TRANSPORT SCHEME
DISPUTE WITH COMMISSIONERS. EXPERTS RELEASED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) SYDNEY, Jan. 16. Received 12.30 p.m to-day. The Railway Commissioners have decided to release Mr. E. Goode and Mr. W. Corry to assist the Premier, Mr. J. T. Lang in the creation of a Ministry of Transport. The men have] been granted leave without pay. 1 A Sydney cable despatched on Wednesday stated: The New South Wales ! Premier, Mr. J. T l . Lang, to-day took a drastic step to override the Rlailway Commissioners, who recently refused to relieve Mr. E. Goode, an expert officer, whom Mr. Lang desired to help him to evolve a. Jlinistry of Transport. Mr. Lang issued a proclamation under which he obtained political control of the railways and by which he will be able to ration the services of the three railway commissioners for a set period as he desires.
