EARTHQUAKE IN MEXICO CITY ALMOST DESTROYED MANY FATALITIES FEARED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 1.30 p.m. to-day. MEXICO CITY, Jan. 30. Wireless reports to the Department of Communications to-day said that 25 were killed or injured at Oaxaca by the earthquake which rocked all Southern Mexico last night. Tire city itself looked as though it had been " shelled for hours. Telegraphic communication is impossible and it is feared the death roll is higher. Mexico City was shaken for four minutes. One person was killed and 25 injured and walls and houses were shaken down. ... .. , Oaxaca advices say it is impossible to describe the panic and confusion m the city, which is almost totally destroyed. . , [Oaxaca., or Oajaca, is the capital of the maritime State of Oaxaca, in Southern Mexico.
