Tom Morris, an Australian long-j distance swimmer, i.s anxious to come to the Dominion and attempt to swim Cook Strait. This information was contained in a letter read at a meeting of the Canterbury Head Centre of the Royal Life-Saving Society this evening. Morris asked the centre to help to lind him employment, but- it was decided to take no notion. g== j
