Lang, to-day took a drastic step to override the Railway Commissioners, who recently refused to relieve Mr Goode, :m expert officer, whom Air Lang desired to help him to evolve a. Ministry of Transport. Air Lang issued a proclamation under which he obtained political control of the railways and by which he will be able to ration the services of the three railway commissioners for a set period as ho desires.
