QUESTION FOR APPEAL COURT.

The High Court of Australia lias granted the New South Wales Government leave to appeal against the judgment of the New- South Wales 1 ull Court restraining the State Government from proceeding with the abolition of the Legislative Council without first submitting the question to the people by a referendum. 1 Mr. .Justice EVatt did not appeal on the bench owing to the fact that lie was counsel for the Government when the injunction was granted.
