MADRID UNIVERSITY UPROAR
PROTESTS AGAINST ARRESTS
(United Pres 3 Association— By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 12 noon to-day. MADRID, Jan. S.
Students of the Madrid University have decided on a general strike as a protest against the imprisonment of Professor Delos Rios and others as the result of the recent revolt. The police made students show identity cards when the classes resumed and forbade those not carrying them to enter. Men and women students raised an uproar in the corridors where many remained jeering at the imprisoned professors instead of attending the lectures.
