Religious mania was responsible for a remarkable crime in a Berlin suburb when a municipal official, a member of a religious sect whose followers claim to cure sickness by application of cream cheese, brutally severed the head of his two-year-old son. When arrested he said: “I am Isaac and my father Abraham sacrificed me to the' Lord 4000 years ago. In my soll I recognised the reincarnation of Abraham, so I killed him out. of revenge.” ___________
