At the Jolinsonville sale on Wednesday cattle were linn, sheep easier alula mbs weak. A large yarding of all classes was offered to a full attend ance. ’ Cattle. —The yarding compriseu heavy weight bullocks with a few pens of lighter sorts; no cows or heifers came forward. Competition was good iit prices firmer than last week’s rates. | A small offering of vealers met with fair demand. Sheep.—There was a large yarding comprising good quality wethers and owes with a few pens of extra prime .sheep. The demand was good at prices slightly easier than last week’s rates. Lambs were dull of sale and showed a decline of up to 2s per head. Flour is £8 a ton, pollard £4 os and bran £3 15s. Potatoes are £ls to £l6 a ton and globe onions £l2. White oats are 3s 6d a bushel and Algerian 4s. Maize is 4s a bushel. The offerings at the wool sales today were 10,792 bales, of which 961-3 were sold; 115 G were sold privately. Values wore unchanged but competition was general and well sustained. A catalogue of 51,000 sheepskins was offered to-day, but only -1000 were sold.
