TWO CONSTABLES AS VICTIMS
THIRD EFFECTS ARREST

Received 2.4-5 p.m. to-day. SYDNEiR., Jan. 3. A sensational happening occurred tills morning at Bondi Junction. A man named Kennedy, known as “Waverloy Bill” entered a shop and purchased goods, but refused to pay. The shop attendant called a constable named Allien, upon whose entry Kennedv drew a revolver and shot him dead. He then hurried out and made for his home.
j A second constable named Andrews jumped from a passing tram and gave 1 chase. Upon reaching Kennedy’s, home lie was attacked by* ■ Kennedy with a knife inflicting stabs which proved fatal.
Shortlv after a third constable named Johnston went to Kennedy’s place and in an altercation shot Kennedv who is now in hospital in a dying condition. The police seized a great quantity of ammunition in Kennedy’s rooms.
