CHURCH SERVICES
To-morrow will be observed as Christmas Sunday at the Baptist Church. At the morning service, Rev. Keith Ewen will preach on “The purpose of the Incarnation,” and in the evening his subject will be “The Jirst Christmas Carol.” Visitors will be welcomed at both services.
At St. John’s Church to-morrow night the choirs will render the sacred cantata “Bethlehem,” and it is anticipated that the performance will be well up to the choir’s usual standard. In keeping with the festive season, services at the Methodist Church have been arranged to emphasise the Christmas spirit. In the evening solos and choruses from “The Messiah” will'be rendered by the chair. Of special interest and appeal will be the soloists, Miss W. Mills and Mr Harold Ackroyd. The subject of the minister’s address will be “What is the Glorv of the Lord?”
