MOTOR CYCLING CRASH

DRIVER KILLED OUTRIGHT. PASSENGER SERIOUSLY INJURED (By Telegrapti—Press Association.) HAMILTON, Dec. 19. The driver of a motor cycle was killed outright and a passenger in a side-car was admitted to hospital in a serious condition as a result of the motor cycle crashing on the HamiltonCambridge Road in the early hours of this morning. The motor cycle was returning from a Cambridge dance, and when passing a vehicle when negotiating a corner three miles from Cambridge, careered on, running off the road and capsizing. The driver, Harry Arthur I. Hooper, aged 30, single, a newsagent of Hamilton, was killed outright. One passenger in the sidecar, Thomas Kdlly, aged 26, a bootmaker, of Hamilton East, was admitted to hospital with a fractured skull. His condition is serious. Miss Horne, who also was in the sidecar, escaped uninjured.
