GUATEMALA REVOLT SUCCEEDS MILITARY JUNTA IN CONTROL OVER FIFTY PERSONS KILLED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) GUATEMALA CLTY, Dec. 17. Fifty persons died in a coup u etat which on Tuesday unseated the new Government of • President Baudillo Palma, and installed General Manuel Orelanna as head of a military junta, which has taken over the adininistiation of public affairs. A message, signed by Rodriquez Retota. Secretary-General ol the military junta, said that General Alamo Deleon, former Minister of Mar, was killed on Tuesday in the lighting. Things were tranquil on Wednesday. General Manuel Orellana, was designated Provisional President. Guatemala, the most northerly of the Republican States of Central America, has a population of something .over 1,500,000. Spanish is the national language.
