IN THE MATTER of “The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925. ” and its Amendments: AND IN THE MATTER of a Petition to His Excellency the GovernorGeneral of the Dominion of New Zealand for the inclusion of certain areas in the South Taranaki Electric-power District. ATOTICE is hereby given that a Petition signed by not loss than onefourth of the Hawera County ratepayers and by not less than one-fourth of the Patea County ratepayers witlftn all that area of land (being part of the Outer Area of the South Taranaki Elec-tric-power Bopad as defined in the Second Schedule to Proclamation dated the 24th day ofCApril, 1925, and published in the New Gazette, 1925, No. 27, at page' 1129) situate in the Land Districts of Taranaki and Wellington comprising that part of the County of Hawera not comprised in the South Taranaki Electric-power District as defined in the First Schedule to the aforementioned Proclamation dated the 24th day of April, 1925, and part of the County of Patea: Bounded, commencing at the mouth of the Tongahoe Stream, and the Southern boundary of the South Taranaki Electric-power district; thence in a south-easterly direction along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Whenuakura River; thence along the Whenuakura River from its mouth to the Wellington-Taranaki provincial boundary; thence following along the provincial boundary generally in a north-easterly direction to where it meets the boundary of the Waitotara County; thence generally in a northerly direction along the boundary of the Waitotara County until it meets tne southern boundary of the Stratford County; thence generally in a westerly and southerly direction along the northern boundary of the Patea County until it meets the boundary of the Hawera County; thence generally in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of-the Hawera County until it meets the eastern boundary of the South Taranaki Electric-power District; thence generally in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the South Taranaki Electric-power District to the sea and the point of commencement at the mouth of the Tongahoe Stream, but not including in such area the Borough of Patea, the boundaries whereof are defined in the New Zealand Gazette of 1882, at Page 124, PRAYING- that the said area be added to the South Taranaki Electric-power District AND setting forth the number of ratepayers and the value improved and unimproved of all rateable property within such area WILE BE PRESENTED to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand after the expiration of one month from the date of publication of this notice. Copies of the said Petition are deposited fit the office of the Hawera County Council in Hawera, and at the office of the Patea County Council in Patea, and are open to the inspection of the public during the usual office hours of such local authorities for not less than one month before presentation as aforesaid.
