SALES ON CONTINENT

(.By Telegraph —Tress Association.) WELLINGTON Nov. 28. The Fruit Export Board lias announced that the proposals put forward by the chairman (Mr. Brown) providing for the marketing: of New Zealand apples on the Continent shall be adopted this season. Arrangements are being made l'or all fruit bound for the Continent to be forwarded to the Hook of Holland under' an optional bill of lading which will enable the Board’s representative to divert the fruit to the United Kingdom markets, should the demand in those markets warrant the diversion. Fruit sent to the Hook of Holland mav he sold on a forward basis or may he forwarded to any of the Continental centres on a consign-1 ment basis. The fruit will be sorted after arrival in Holland, according to variety.
