MAGISTRATE CANCELS LICENSE.

William George White, aged 61 years, n taxi driver, was to-day deprived of his license for stealing a wornjn passenger’s -luggage. On the theft charge he was admitted to (probation for twelve months and ordered to make restitution of £6 13s. “We cannot have a man like him on the road as a taxi driver,” said the Magistrate Mr. F. K. Hunt.
