CLAY BIRD SHOOTING
SOUTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP,

DUNEDIN, Nov. 28,
The South Island clay bird shooting championship for 1930 was held this afternoon in excellent weather. The championship, which consisted of a 21bird shoot off 18 yards, resulted in a tie between I. G. Watkins (Rangiora) and T. Clouston (Lauder), who each broke 20 birds. In the shoot-off for a further five birds Watkins secured the possible and annexed the championship.
